7 Months Old

Yesterday Bryant turned 7 months old. He is doing what my friend Ellen calls the "Commando crawl". He started that on Tuesday. The sad part is I missed the first time. I was in the kitchen putting something in the dishwasher for about 3 minutes. When I came into the den Bryant had moved from one couch to the other. The key to knowing that he had crawled there was that usually his movement if from side to side.....(he will usually roll from place to place). But this was a forward movement. I watched him for a few minutes to see what he was doing and sure enough, he did a little crawl on his elbows. I cried and called Chris to inform him that Bryant had crawled and I missed it. How sappy I have become since becoming a mommie. This is picture of Bryant at Christmas. His Aunt Lisa took the photo of him. I know I am going back in time, but I couldn't resist sharing this photo with you. I did take some pictures yesterday when he turned 7 months and I will post those in a few days.

He is also starting to show some attitude.
Things he doesn't like:

  1. His car seat
  2. His high-chair
  3. To be left alone
  4. To have to stop and eat....He'd rather play any day
  5. To sit still (this is why he doesn't like #1 and #2)

Things he likes:

  1. To play rough with his daddy
  2. To give kisses...slobber and all
  3. To make noise with his toys
  4. To take baths
  5. To listen to music
  6. To play with the phone and TV remote
  7. To be NAKED
  8. To touch your face
  9. To play with my hair
  10. To watch our dog Prissy run around the house
  11. To go for walks in our yard with Prissy
  12. Carrots

Bryant will be dedicated on Feb 26th, 2006. We were asked to give a life verse for him. This is the one I choose and it is also the one my mom prayed for me.

Colossians 1:9-14

For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sin.
